94 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: “(70+ year old vines) Here too the very ripe but ultra-fresh wild red berry fruit aromas have a coulis character along with plenty of newly turned earth nuances that carry over to the concentrated, powerful and muscular larger-scaled flavors that coat the palate on the balanced and impressively persistent finale. This is almost always one of Boillot’s best wines and so it is again this year. Moreover, kudos to the domaine for avoiding the dry tannins that are typically the result of the fruit having been hit by hail as was the case in 2020.Outstanding. Drink 2035+. “

Reviews & Scores
Hailed on 1st August but has come through very well, albeit with a low yield. Clément intelligently went for a shorter vinification here. Intense even purple. A little blackcurrant without being reduced. There’s a huge amount of fruit here, nothing dry, nothing cooked, just a massive volume of red and black ripe fruit. - JM
